Mission Statement

      This Web-Page is part of a B.Ed (Hons.) dissertation, intended to provide an online Virtual Resource Centre on Environmental Education. Intended primarily for educators, it is also targeted at all stakeholders interested in collaborating with teachers to create an awareness about environmental issues and sustainable development.

This section is subdivided into two categories - Teachers' books and Pupils' books. This section contains a list of dissertation abstracts of all dissertations related to Environmental Education found in the Melitensia Section of the University of Malta Library. Site-search facility for searching for specific items within the VRC. Several categories of lesson plans devised by teachers for teachers to teach about environmental issues and themes. Visitor feedback section. Visitors are invited to fill-in and submit the feedback form. Additional comments can be made by signing the Guestbook. This section promotes numerous local non-profit organisations whose main aims are to protect the natural environment, flora and fauna as well as the historic and cultural environment, and make proposals for sustainable development. Links to related sites and online encyclopedias.
